Gray Haven

This property was perfect for our group. We've been coming to Bodega Bay for years and this year we required a larger home. Grayhaven was everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the large deck facing the golf course and ocean!

We always hate to leave Gray Haven. It is the perfect family/ reunion/ get-away-from it all place.

We had a wonderful time. We’ve come back yearly to Gray Haven for many years. It never disappoints. Always very clean. The view is spectacular. And the kitchen well stocked.

Three nights with family to celebrate a birthday. Great house and very comfortable with room for all. The deck and view are the best on the golf course. Kitchen is well equipt.

Gray haven provided a wonderful home for a 3 generation family visit (five adults and 3 children ages 6,10,13 and elderly mother 90). Vista was outstanding, enough room for all, great location!

Our stay in July was absolutely perfect! everything we needed was on hand, the property has been well maintained and the house was very clean! Our family had such a great time and the view is the best! Renting a beach house in Bodega Bay has been on my bucket list and now I can't wait to do it again. We love Bodega Bay!

Our family (kids and grandkids) came for a long weekend and loved this home. It was comfortable, clean, and the panoramic views were special indeed. The location was perfect and the home is located a short walk from the beach. The property management staff are wonderful to work with. I highly recommend!

I stayed in this beutiful home during the first week of January 2023 with five others- three couples. This house is just excellent in almost every way. We were there during a very stormy week and lost power for 24 hours twice during the stay. It was very cold during those periods, but thetime was fairly pleasant due to the great view and a gas stove (not oven). At other times keeping the main living area heated to a comfortable temperature for every individual preference was something of a challenge due to the high ceiling, big windows and air flow, but the was really the only significant downside we encountered during our stay. The kitchen and main living space is very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked and fairly comfortable for 2-3 people to share. Appliances are of high quality.
The bedroom set-up is excellent for three couples as there are three dbl bed rooms and also a mini-suite that includes a fourth BR with dble bunk beds.
There is an expansive deck with a massively expansive matching golf course, marsh, ocean, Bodega Head, Bodega Bay view.
We commented often during the week that we were there that this was probably the best house we've rented at Bodega Harbor in over 20 years of return annual visits.
Another point that is of no small importance is the care and attention paid by the rental company that manages this property. Within a few minutes of our arrival, one of their crew was at the door with flashlights in preparation for the possibility of the loss of power- a very thoughtful touch. We had had a particularly disappointing rental last year and the company staff had left us a very bountiful welcome basket as a token of appreciation for our patience and continued rental business. A truly gracious, and classy gesture.
You will not be disapointed if you rent Gray Haven for your vacation.

My family and I all love this house. Even one of the golfers passing by said this was the best house in the area for view.

We had an amazing stay at Gray Haven and basically all of our family and friends that came to stay, fell in love with the home as well. We had a revolving door of folks coming and going, but no one wanted to leave, and everyone wished they could have stayed longer! In fact, the nights we had planned on going out to dinner were cancelled, as we opted for staying in, preparing all of our meals right at home to enjoy the views and every minute of our time there. Th deck that runs across the front of the house is amazing. It would be good though if they could keep a couple of portable umbrellas handy to move around, as the afternoon sun gets pretty intense. The only negative we really had, was that the Master Bed Room bed was extremely uncomfortable. It would be so easy to upgrade to a new memory foam bed, and I hope they do. Other than that, staying at this "family home" was one of the most enjoyable and memorable vacations that we've ever had, and we're so happy that we were able to share this experience with our family and friends.

Our family of six spent four nights at Gray Haven. The property was as described and well maintained. Would definitely recommend especially for family as there are four bedrooms/three baths. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful view of ocean and golf course.

Gray Haven exceeded all expectations. This is a lovely and well loved home with beautiful furnishings and fully accessorized. We appreciate the owners willingness to share this treasure with us. Our group of nine had plenty of space and privacy. We are highly satisfied with our experience.

We ranged in ages from 8 to 86 and all enjoyed this home with its beautiful views and ample space. We ranged in physical abilities and everybody found pleasurable things to do at home, in the neighborhood or by driving to more vigorous activities. In preparing for our vacation, the rental agency provided superb customer service because we had MANY questions. We hope to return.

Eight adults stayed in this lovely lodge-like home for a week. We had five private rooms (one was a TV room in which we set-up our own airbed). I, being the youngest, slept in the bottom bunk bed, which was a full-sized bed, and it was really comfortable! I was shocked! We all slept really well. We dined comfortably around the dining room table. The kitchen was more than sufficient for our food prep needs - and we did a lot of cooking while we were there. Pots and pans, knives, utensils, tools - we had everything we needed, including many pretty Franciscan dishes, which we enjoyed. The three full baths were great and sufficient for our needs. Now, with all that out of the way, we can discuss the view. Gorgeous - harbor and Bodega Head to the right, ocean straight ahead and to the far left. From the deck you can sit comfortably and watch it all, really protected from the wind by the glass. We enjoyed a few cocktails watching the sun go down. Weather was surprisingly beautiful. We had a problem with ants (they rule the earth) and Bodega Bay Escapes was Johnny on the Spot, bringing over ant traps after we called them. Problem solved! The afternoon sun really warms up the house, but bring a nice warm sweater for after the sun goes down. The three main bedrooms have the same lovely view of the water as the deck. The bunk bed bedroom and both TV rooms have views of the front patio, which is lovely. One car can park in the garage, and two cars can use the driveway. We had dinner at Terrapin Creek Cafe - we all highly recommend it - the most delicious fish stew I've ever eaten. Soup to dessert, we were really happy with our choices. The golf course got a heavy workout from our group all week long. Not one complaint about the course - it's beautiful and well-cared for. If you are a reader, there are a multitude of good books provided, and games to play, too, if that's your thing. The furniture was comfortable for long evenings sitting and talking with family. We'll be back.

This home has spectacular views, and always something to see from the deck.
The home is well appointed, and has some new kitchen upgrades.
The home does have some ant issues, but that seems to go with being on the coast.
All in all a very nice home, and we’ll gladly return.

The house was very well stocked and in a fabulous location.

Everyone in our family was in total AWE of this beautiful seaside home. The layout is perfect, with 2 TV rooms, plus 4 bedrooms. The location couldn't be better and that is why we keep coming back to this lovely home.

This property was truly perfect for our stay. There is plenty of space for small children and adults. All the things that we always forget were available in the house (i.e. beach toys). The house is of course clean and everything works.

The view from the back windows is absolutely stunning and the back porch is perfect for morning coffee. We can't wait to go again.

It was our 60th wedding anniversary and our good friends' 58th. We jointly owned a vacation home in Bodega Bay for 35 years. So we splurged on the finest rental imaginable and enjoyed the incomparable views.

Our family rents a home every spring break in Bodega Bay and this home beats them all. We bring our 96 year old Grandfather and we need certain attainable access points in a home that we rent. This home had it all. The home was warm and comfortable. The kitchen FULLY stocked. The SONOS system was a hit with everyone. The 2 TV rooms were great and the assortment of board games were fun. The views and golf watching was a big part of our stay. We absolutely will return. It is obvious that the home is loved by it's owners. The rental company staff were awesome like always.

We had a great family getaway weekend at GrayHaven! The layout of the house was very conducive to social distancing. The location was perfect! Very close to beach and walks.

Grayhaven is a great family vacation house and location in Bodega Bay. Beautiful views, nice accommodations for adults and kids with a close walk to the beach. It has lovely furnishings, a big table for family meals and a large family room for watching movies in the evening.

This was our second time at Gray Haven and we'll certainly return again. The views are stunning! Initially the property wasn't available on the days we wanted but the folks at Bodega Bay Escapes made it work. It's nice to be able to pick up the phone and get great service with people that actually live and work in the location! Thx. We'll be back.

Even though we visited during the Pandemic, our family had a wonderful time at Gray Haven. It was a great escape from the heat in Sacramento. Gray Haven is the perfect place for a large family. We were not able to visit our favorite restaurants, but had a picnic at a park nearby and take-out from two restaurants in town. Bodega Bay Escapes provided excellent service in finding this large home for us. The view of the ocean and golf course was outstanding. Would definitely stay there again.

Gray Haven is a lovely home in a terrific location. We had a fabulous stay. And Bodega Bay Escapes was a total pleasure to work with. They were responsive, dealt with a small problem we had with one of the doors within hours and made the experience seamless.

There are 11 of us and we rent 3 houses to sleep in (I sleep here) but all 11 of us spend days and evenings here in this house scrapbooking/paper crafting. We had a wonderful time. Thank you so much.

Spectacular location and views from all rooms, this home is a gem. It will easily sleep 10 to 12 people and feels just as good all by yourself. I’ve been coming here for almost 20 years and still haven’t found its equal. In winter months you get three days for two on top of that. Beach a pleasant stroll past the 5th tee, great kitchen and two media rooms... the whole family is happy.

There are not many homes to rent that are both large enough for our family and are one story homes which we need for small children. Love the enclosed courtyard where kids can play but it's secure!

We have used Bodega Bay Escapes for the past nine years, but by far, Grayhaven has been our favorite. The entrance way is amazing and welcoming. The house is clean, well stocked and inviting. Plenty of room for a large group both inside and on the deck. And the views. Breathtaking. We will definitely be back for our ladies weekend next year. Many thanks for sharing. Wow. Such a lovely house. And what a view...spectacular! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The dining table seats 10; just right for a large group. And 3 gathering spaces so everyone could spread out.

We love Greyhaven and will stay at this property again.

Gray Haven is just that, a haven. It is architecturally amazing with soaring ceilings and handsome fireplace. And it is only a very short and doable walk to the clubhouse an beach. Love, love, love Gray Haven; a keeper for sure!

Gray Haven is a really nice house. The location is great, with views out to the harbor and big open windows to let the light in. You don't feel like anyone else is around thanks to the way the house is situated, next to open space on one side and angled away from the house on the other side. I also love that its a single-story, so no crazy flights of stairs like many of the BB houses.

The only complaints we had were that several of the bedrooms have skylights right over the beds so at the crack of dawn we were all awakened by the light pouring in. Also, the insulation between the kitchen and master bedroom isn't great - we could hear whispers in the kitchen when we were in the bedroom with the door closed.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well-stocked (although the blender is broken), and the location can't be beat.

The only problem was the garbage and recycling were not picked up from the previous person's stay. We had to pile up the garage but it was not much of a problem since it was in the garage. The place was gorgeous and very comfortable. Except for sky lights in bedrooms -brought too much light for sleeping but otherwise views were gorgeous. Some other people that stayed with us liked the skylights.

The lay-out was perfect for our group affording privacy for all... only down-side was the”fire” & ensuing smoke...

We stayed in the home for a work retreat with a total of 10 adults. The space was comfortable and clean and the view was amazing. The neighborhood is peaceful. The only issue is that there's a place where the golfers hit their ball, basically in the back yard of the house, so there's a lack of privacy at times.

This is the ultimate. I have been coming to Bodega Bay for almost 30 years, staying in many different homes in the South Harbor Sub'd.
This is by far the most convenient, comfortable, and best location.

Had a lovely get away with our 80 year old classmates. we've been doing this for over 20 years and we never get tired of the love and laughter.

Such a great view and house. The house is all one floor with the master bedroom on one side and the other 3 bedrooms on the other side. It also has two media rooms. So lots of room to stretch out. Has a very nice back deck also with lots of chairs, for sitting and just watching the scenery. We cooked many of our own meals instead of going out and the kitchen was well equipped for what we needed. We had a very enjoyable week!

We had a fabulous time at Gray Haven - in every way. The views are amazing, the beach easy to access and great for walking, the home lovely, the kitchen well supplied, the wildllfe abundant, delicious local restaurants and all within easy access. Highly recommended!

We had a fun reunion at Gray Haven. I have stayed in many of your houses before, this one is a MUST to return to.
The deck is phenomenal - day or night!
We cooked in every night and enjoyed the kitchen and BBQ. The kitchen was well appointed to allow for a large meal.
The two small "media rooms" provided an opportunity for a little alone time too.

We stayed at the house for an executive retreat and it was perfect! The kitchen is great. Well stocked and roomy. The seperation of the bedrooms and 2TV rooms makes getting away from one another easy. But the dining /living room is really spectacular. The view of the ocean and bay along with the front patio is PERFECT. This house has a beach feel, not a sterile suburban feeling. This is our go to house in Bodega Vay!

We were totally blown away. We would stay here again and again. It suited all of our needs, the view was fantastic as well as the location.

We spent our 45 wedding anniversary here with our family. Old and young had a wonderful week-end. There is lots of room that suits both young and old.

We tried a lot of homes in bodega Bay, and this is clearly the best. Beautiful views, beautiful home and furnishings. Everyone looks forward to this trip every year.

Beautiful view. The weather was great and we loved having a deck with nice furniture to sit outside. You may want to check the skylight in the master bedroom;it appears to have a small leak as the bed was slightly damp. The coffee pot is on it's last leg and we had to wash some of the dishes before using but in general we loved the cabin and have rented it again for same time next year!! Thank You.

we've stayed in 15 or 20 houses here over the last few decades, each time searching for a better location. This is the best....stayed here 3 years I think and will be back as we always are!

Eight of us spent 3 days playing bridge at Gray haven--It was sometimes hard to concentrate because of the gorgeous views from every part of the house--It's a beautiful home and we loved it!!!!
