7th Heaven

Our Bodega rental was awesome. Beautiful views of the ocean. The house was overall very comfortable and clean. The area serene and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked, even had olive oil and a wide variety of spices. Lots of books, games and videos to choose from. The private spa was very relaxing. Clear instructions as to tenant responsibilities.

We have stayed at several homes for the past 30 years and have actually stayed at 7th Heaven before about 10 years ago. Upon entering you could definitely smell that this was a “pet friendly” home. Our dog found numerous spots on the carpet since he’s the smell detective. But the biggest problem came when our kids were supposed to sleep on the hide-a-bed. The mattress and topper had brown and yellow stains, the kids were screaming. Then we find extra pillows to add to the bed, those were stained. No one would sleep there, so they ended up having to sleep on the couch. This really is a sleeps 4 house, not 6. Also the spa needs attention. The water was murky, and that made me apprehensive to get in, the spa water when the chemicals are right should be clear.

My mother, my best friend and I stayed for two nights and enjoyed ourselves at 7th Heaven. The house was clean, well appointed and private. We had lovely views of the ocean and the Northern Lights! The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was in good condition and a lovely addition. We will be back! The driveway is mostly unusable because of the steepness. We parked on the street. Bodega Bay Escapes was easy to work with (as always!)

We we came here to spend our honeymoon with our fur baby, and it was a great stay. The view was amazing, the house was laid out perfectly. The only issue we had was the hot tub Had bugs in the water and the water was not clear so we just didn’t use it. Close to town and all the amenities will be back for sure. Thank you.

Nice views of the ocean to the left. Somewhat obstructed view of golf course due to large mounds blocking it. The house was very clean, open, bright and airy. Large, nice kitchen. However, the garage door leading from house into garage in entry way was very difficult to close due to loose hinge on door frame. Lastly, very, very steep driveway which scapes the bottom of car. Beware of that. Overall nice stay.

The house was not clean. The kitchen cabinets were sticky and greasy. There was hardened food on the “clean” dishes in the cabinets. All the glasses had to be washed. Not an ideal vacation when you are rewashing dishes. There was a lot of rust inside the freezer. They need new kitchen appliances.

We had a great time staying at the property for most of a week. It was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Great views. Good kitchen for cooking too. We brought our small dog and I was very happy to see that you could not tell that pets are allowed there, meaning no signs of dog hair or worn furniture.
