Really nice house. Great views

The house — which we’ve rented twice before — reeked of old dog urine and dog. We’ve rented around 50 dog-friendly houses over the past 20 years (at Sea Ranch, Bodega Bay, Pacific Grove) and have never encountered a smelly house before. The house appeared clean — I think the carpet was long overdue for deep cleaning.

We would recommend this house when they fix the heater and the lights so our grandkids are not cold at night

This house was very comfortable for 4 adults and had lovely views of the beach from the living room. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy, linens great, and reading materials and art on the walls to our liking. We would definitely rent this home again.

This house is a great place for a getaway. It has plenty of room for 2 couples. It’s very comfortable, clean, well appointed, felt like home. Great location, easy to find, nice view and very quiet. We invited ours cousins for a mini family reunion. They were very impressed. Highly recommend and will definitely rent again.

My son and I came to Bodega Bay for a long wedding weekend - we picked Bocca bella mainly so we'd have our own bathroom - but it was such a pleasant surprise - such a beautiful home! From the minute I walked in, I was relaxed and peaceful. I love the open floor plan and the views. Only upgrade - since I was mother of the bride - sure could have used a full length mirror. I plan on coming back soon with a girlfriend to just unwind. Thank you!

Loved the house the layout was perfect. Kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. We did most meals in. Very comfortable beds and cute furnishings. The view was spectacular. It would have been even better had the large windows had been clean.

The house was comfortable and larger than I expected from the description. One comment, when we took the sheets of the bed for checkout, one of them was stained with blood at the bottom. Pretty gross! I would suggest throwing those sheets away.

The rental was awesome, location was central and near the beautiful golf course. The house was very dog friendly with the back area and enclosed and lots of natural light and balconies for fresh air. The house was also equipped with everything you needed to cook breakfast or dinner, we had an amazing time!

You can walk down through Pinnacle Gulch to the beach, head south on the beach to the next gulch (Shorttail), and head back up to the houses. It's a nice 2 mile walk and the doggie loved it. All in all, a most pleasant stay.

If you are looking for a place to bring your dog that you can walk to a beach within 20 minutes with a great view this is the place for you. Perfect for a young family of 4 and dog.

This is my new favorite rental office to book a vacation with! This was the second time and second property in the last six months to utilize this business. Once again, the property was in pristine condition and we were able to utilize the garage which was much appreciated for a winter vacation even though the weather could not have been better .

We had a wonderful time staying at the Bocabella House. It was clean, comfortable, and dog-friendly. My sister has difficulty climbing stairs due to a previous injury, so staying at a single story home with no steps was wonderful!

We had an amazing time at Boccabella. I only wish we had been able to stay longer! The view was amazing and everything was ready and easy to use and find. One of the biggest pluses for me, as someone who has done a decent amount of VRBO traveling, was that the beds were VERY comfortable! It is such a treat when they are that nice! The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed hiking, fresh seafood (including a fish caught at Haegamans Trout Pond) and time on the beach. Can't wait to go back!

This is the second time we have stayed at Boccabella. We were so impressed with the Kitchen amenities and the comfort of the home. The dog run is a big plus! Nice deck with a beautiful view! We were a bit disappointed with how dusty it was inside. Perhaps a good Spring cleaning would do the trick? We would definitely consider another stay.

My husband and I stayed at Boccabella for 3 nights in March with our small dog. It's a great property -- excellent floor plan, fantastic view from the main room, great wifi, and very nicely appointed. We would happily stay there again.

We absolutely loved this house! Beautiful views, sunsets were magnificent. Kitchen was very well stocked, Had everything you would ever need, very comfortable home, beds were comfortable, spacious bathrooms, decorated beautifully. Had huge garage, washer dryer. Best of all for us a wonderful doggie run, which was perfect.

The patio in the back was perfect for a morning coffee. The house is an older model but kept up well. They have a dog run and an outdoor patio perfect for someone with a dog. The two bedrooms are good size. We would love to stay here again. It's perfect for two couples

The property rental staff were helpful. The house is nice place to stay in a quiet neighbhorhood. House was clean, except for some dust. Too many knick knacks for my taste.

Other than having to wait for the hot water to turn hot, it was a great place. We especially liked the hummingbirds we fed. Nice and clean.

We love this house. A cozy 2 bedroom with ocean views (and sounds) and large living room for entertaining. Bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen conveniently located. Wonderful dog area for renters with dogs.

It was a very nice rental. This was for my moms 69th birthday. We stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved it!!

Very nice and relaxing. We don't play golf but the development had a nice feel for just kicking back and enjoying the coastal area.

We came for a short get away with our 2 small dogs. The 4 of us had a good time and found Boccabella very dog friendly with a nice enclosed but outdoor dog walking area. This felt very safe to use after dark, although a flashlight was handy at times. The house has easy one story access & a nice porch to sit & enjoy the views of ocean & Bay.

This was our first time using a Vacation Rental. and the experience was great. This home (Boccabella) was every thing we expected. We will use this home again.

Boccabella is a favorite when we vacation in Bodega Bay. Wonderful is allows dogs. The views are incredible and the house charming!

Our annual pilgrimage to Boccabella & Bodega Bay never disappoints, except when we must leave & return to reality. This past visit marked our 20th anniversary as honorary "Bodegans" & we look forward to many more "Holidaze" here.

The house was centrally located to everything we needed to do for my daughter's wedding weekend. Loved having a washer/dryer available. The home was comfortable and spacious. We would definitely use the Bodega Bay services again. Our whole family used the agency and were very pleased with the bride's mothers house, the brides house, our house, and the uncle's condo.

What a relaxing peaceful escape! This view from the living room windows was spectacular. We couldn't have asked for better weather, sunny days so we could really enjoy the view! Also enjoyed the wildlife, a bobcat and many jackrabbits. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. The property managers were super helpful and friendly. We can't wait to return!!

We had a great stay at the Boccabella home last weekend. It has a spacious layout with lots of glass, which allows in a lot of light. The vaulted ceilings add to this feeling, and there is a nice view of the bay and peninsula, from the living room and the main bedroom.

We brought our own food, so we did a lot of cooking. If you plan to cook and you need one, you might want to bring your own french chef knife, as there was not one there.

We also enjoyed the warmth and flame of the glass front wood stove in the living room, against the backdrop of the grey fog that settles around everything at night. Getting that stove started was a bit tricky, as there was no kindling. So you might want to buy or bring some kindling. If you BBQ, bring some briquets and starter fluid, or you can buy them at the Deli just 5 minutes away.

If you like to bike ride, the ride up nearby Coleman Valley Road to Occidental is a great, steep climb, that takes you past beautiful farms and fields, chickens, cattle, and horses. For the less adventurous, I believe you can rent bikes to ride along the flat beach road, or you can take the short walk to Pinnacle Gulch beach just below the house.

The Boccabella home was perfect for 2 couples and 2 dogs. Great ocean views, well stocked kitchen, even a very nice dog run. We will return!

We again relished our 2 week stay through the "Holidaze". It is our annual recharging, but makes it very hard to return to reality!See you next year

We had such a perfect time in Bodega over thanksgiving. The weather was perfect and this home was well stocked. The only thing missing was wifi!

We were so happy to be able to rent 3 homes right in our neighborhood for family and friends to stay in over our weekend wedding (all the rental homes were from Bodega Bay Escapes). The bigger home, Bluff Point, was a perfect gathering spot for all the guests to meet up. The third house was Eagle's Nest. All were great for our guests and really nice to be able to select the right size for each group of family members. Only addition to their enjoyment would be: Newer towels (the ones there were a little too well used) and it would have been very helpful as a host (us) to know exactly what was offered in each house--ie. hairdryer, toaster, coffee maker, etc. All three homes seemed well equipped and when the big house didn't have a toaster, the agency immediately had one for us. Plus they offered to deliver any missing items if we just called.

Enjoyed our one week stay. This home is in a quiet location with great ocean and harbor views.
We appreciated that pets are allowed and there is a nice fenced dog run.
I would recommend this 2 BR/2 Bath one level home to anyone with mobility issues. Easy access directly into house from garage. (There are 4 steps down to patio area but there is a nice deck off living area with no steps)

We spent the weekend here at Bocabella- my son and I and our 2 dogs. The place was very comfortable and has nice views. The Bodega Harbor Links is a nice development and was very dog friendly. I would definitely go back there! We have stayed several places in Bodega Bay over the years and this is a new favorite!

I have been renting homes in Bodega Bay for over twenty years. This home was so comfortable.
Not too close to the golf course, so it was very quiet. Would have loved another bed in the
Master bedroom or a larger bed in the Master!!
The views were wonderful.

Wonderful views, however, a bit tired...very clean and comfortable, but bathrooms need updating (rusty sinks and fixtures.

House was nice but no yard and no wildlife. Good for 2 couples. Large house in front of living room window and no yard so no wildlife to see. View of bay was nice. Needs new shades in living room and TV in second bedroom. Bedrooms are noisy if someone is watching TV in living room or if someone is in kitchen because rooms are very close together.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at BoccaBella. The house has a great location, great views of the ocean and a nice hot tub. While some of the appliances are old and there is no wifi, we still had a great time as we spent most of the time outside.

Another beautiful weekend in Bodega Bay! This home is nice with Master Suite and 2nd bedroom and 2nd bath. (I wouldn't call it two Master Suites). The greatroom is open and comfortable with great views! Nice deck for enjoying the fresh sea air. We felt the home a bit unclean. We couldn't sit anywhere without getting long dog hair on our clothes. We did bring our boxer and love that this home is pet friendly, and the dog run is fabulous! However, the dog hair, cobwebs, linens, bedding, and towels need a little attention. Overall we had a very nice stay and would come back to Boccabella as well as suggest it to others.

We had a very relaxed time, which was what we were looking for. Privacy was great, the home was absolutely spotless and gleaming :)

Again, we enjoyed another enjoyable weekend get away at Boccabella. While wind blew us around on the beach it was cozy inside. One suggestion would be to allow a bit later check on Monday morning if possible, say noon or 1pm if no one is coming in. That would help. Appreciate the friendly office staff and help on to get the spa turned on which worked great once we figured it out. THANKS!

Very comfortable home with great views. I have been twice now to Bodega Bay in the Jan/Feb. time frame. Weather is spectacular, nicer than summertime which is usually foggy and windy.

We had a great time. Trails close by. Lots to do. Nice hot tub.

Boccabella is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. We brought our daughter here for a much needed family fix as she recently moved away from her sisters to Austin, Texas. We spent most of our time in the home; once you get your supplies of food and beverage in, there isn't much reason to leave! We left rejuvenated and relaxed.

This house is perfect for two couples. The dog run off the back patio area was great. We didn't need to worry about taking our two little ones out front on a leash. The large windows overlooked the ocean was a great addition. Would definetly stay here again.

From the moment we walked into Boccabella and gasped at the amazing view we knew this was a special place. We walked everyday, cooked in the well appointed kitchen, enjoyed the comfortable beds and great showers, and melted our cares away in the private hot tub. We took long walks on the beach and vowed to return as soon as possible. This home is cared for lovingly by the owners!

Our stay was very nice..The unit itself was very comfortable.If we found one "tacky thing" it was your kitchen ware..Most should be replaced.Might suggest some instruction on the "TV" and DVR operation...other than that we enjoyed our stay...James N.

nice open spaces, and deck areas. Lots of sun, good views, and very quiet. Kitchen has lots of pans, knives and other essentials that some places do not have. It was easy to just relax, and feel like I am at home.

Our original rental was not available, so Pam graciously upgraded us to Boccabella. As soon as we opened the door, we could tell that this house was loved. Everything was spotless and clean, and we had everything we could have possibly wanted in the sunny, well-appointed kitchen. There were lots of ocean, shell, cat, and bodega bay art works on the walls, and being "cat people" we appreciated that.. lol
The hot area has no ocean view, but is completely totally private, in an enclosed courtyard, with a barbecue and plenty of room for every one.
This is our first experience with Bodega Bay Escapes, and it definitely will not be our last.
Boccabella is very sunny and calming, and very well furnished and appointed, we plan to return to this rental property, we love it.

The absolute best property for viewing sunset over the water! The hot tub was set to proper temp so that a long, relaxing soak was possible. Hope to return soon.

We loved the beautiful quiet place and had some great last days in the USA. Bodega Bay and San Francisco are now one of our favorite places to be. Maybe we can come over for a second time.

Everything in the house worked! Created great family meals in the kitchen. Our great Dane, Wilson totally enjoyed himself. We will definitely return!
