Very good experience we love Mary’s place good view pool table only thing it needs a new electric stove don’t work very good

We loved the location and condition of the home. Took us awhile to figure out how to make toast in the toaster oven. We would prefer having a toaster. Garbage compactor door would not open, don't know if there's a reason for that. Everything else was super.

Three generations enjoyed a great weekend at Mary's Place. The house was clean, comfortable, and in a great location with beautiful views of Bodega Head. Will definitely book again.

Once again another wonderful stay. Closed in with the refreshing fog, but a fun weekend with hikes and the warm beach and a cozy home. Marys Place is always clean, accommodating, warm and peaceful. The kitchen has everything you need and the whole experience is relaxing!

Great vacation rental. Easy to communicate with owners.

We absolutely loved staying here. We originally planned on staying for our fathers 90th birthday but due to some medical issues he and mom had to cancel. The rest of us (5 adults) decided to enjoy the time away anyway. We had an absolute blast here. The house is perfect and everyone was able to spread out without being in each other’s way.

We decided to make this an annual event.

The home is beautiful, clean, everything worked great and it is an easy walk/drive to the beach. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

We have been going to Bodega Bay for 50 years for an annual family reunion. This house was terrific - lots of room to spread out and the different bedrooms on the opposite side of the main floor (plus the bedroom downstairs) allowed folks with different sleep schedules (inlcuding a newborn) to all be comfortable. All in all a great experience and we hope to use the same house next year!

We have stayed at Mary’s Place numerous times. It is the perfect place for our twice a year crafting retreat. Large living area, plenty of bathrooms, ample parking and a beautiful view.

Second time for Mary’s Place. Nice house and lots of space. Large flat screen and pool table downstairs.
Three bedrooms and three and a half baths upstairs, one bedroom and bath downstairs. We love the house but for all of us a TV upstairs would be very helpful, as some have trouble with the steep stairwell.
A glass of wine and a movie after dinner is just what we needed after a fun day exploring.

We’ve been coming here yearly for a few years and always have a wonderful time. Home is clean, tidy, has everything we need for the weekend.

We were a group of 8 women. Sisters, mothers, daughters, and nieces. Had a wonderful stay here. The home is a great location with beautiful views. We saw a couple baby deer. Very clean, comfortable home. Loved the downstairs pool room/bar area! The hot tub was so relaxing too. Would definitely go back here.

Plenty of space a large family.
Home is located in an area that gives you great views, and beautiful sunsets.
The kitchen and dining area has ample space for family meals.
If I had to give a big negative, it would be the condition of the beds. They are very old and desperately need replacing.

My quilt group has been getting together for over 20 years at Dillon Beach. This year we moved to Bodega Bay and Mary's Place. What a great decision this was. Bodega Bay Escapes made check in so easy. The house was immaculate, beautifully furnished, and plenty of room for the 6 of us, our machines, tables, etc. We absolutely loved Mary's Place and will be back, for sure.

Love coming to Bodega Bay every year for the crabbing and the views! Bodega Bay Escapes has been my family’s go to vacation rental company for many years and they have always been kind, professional and accommodating! I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking to stay in Bodega Bay with the comforts of having all home amenities at your disposal. Mary’s Place is a beautiful home and perfect for a large family of up to 10. It actually is my favorite home so far and we have stayed at many different homes throughout the years. The views of the ocean from the home are breathtaking! The house overall was very comfortable. Rooms are behind doors with little hallways between the main living area so it was nice and quiet for sleeping. We did have a slight issue with the propane tank running out during our visit but the team at Bodega Bay Escapes did everything they could to get the propane company out to the house as quickly as possible and were accommodating of our needs while we waited. If you have a large family, love being comfortable, love ocean views, this is the place for you!

The house was beautiful with great views. Very clean and well stocked, staff was very helpful. The only downside was a few of the bedrooms had beds that were horrible and need to be updated- otherwise wise we enjoyed our stay.

I have been coming to Bodega Bay Escapes for at least 26 years. Mary's Place is a Great place for alot of people. I have been taking a group of Ladies for over 30 years & we all really like this place very comfortable, the spa was also a nice feature on a moon lite night. Hearing the seals in the night is also relaxing. Thanks again.

This was a beautiful home on the top floor which had three bedrooms two bathrooms. The lower floor was unusable because it smelled musty and there was a very noisy fan running constantly. One of our ladies ended up sleeping on the very comfortable living room couch because the 4th bedroom and 3rd bathroom were located down the steep stairs and as I said noisy and smelly.
I would recommend Mary’s Place if you only need three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

This was our 11th year staying at Mary's Place for our girls getaway. As usual we had a wonderful time and plan to go back again next year. The house is perfect for our group with plenty of room and we enjoyed the hot tub each night.

We had such a good time on Memorial Day weekend we decided to come back! House was fantastic as always and we couldn't have asked for better weather. We'll be back again I'm sure :)

Our group of three families had a fantastic time at Mary's Place over Memorial Day weekend. This was our second stay and both the house and location are fantastic. The views from the patio are wonderful and we love the huge open living area. The hike down to the beach was manageable even for our 4-year-olds and everyone had a wonderful time :)

Absolutely perfect family get away. We knew it fit our family perfect as soon as we saw all the completed puzzles downstairs. My mom loves puzzles. From the kitchen you can cook clean and eat with view, could not ask for more. We even where able to see and juvenile grey whale off the deck with binoculars. This will definitely be a new yearly family tradition.

Overall it was a wonderful stay as usual. The only problem was the heater and fireplace were not working so the mornings were a little chilly. We could have contacted the management on our first day but didn't really find it that bothersome. Overall we had a fantastic stay and will be back again for our 11th time next year.

One adult always had to be downstairs to watch the kids (around the pool table and bar) when they were playing games, watching tv or a movie. Our only big complaint about this house would be the beds... they were old and very uncomfortable. We were all pretty achy by the end of our stay. The staff at BBE were, as always, outstanding.

Mary’s place had a gorgeous sprawling view of the ocean as soon as you step inside! Immediately was feeling the beachy vibes! Plenty of room for our family! Relaxing sunset on the upper deck & fun games downstairs on the patio & in the game room! The home was fully stocked with all the essentials too! Just bring your clothes, food & beach chairs & your set for a wonderful family weekend! Very short drive to the beach & to Spud Point Crab Shack-our FAVORITE! The booking was local & personable and not a call center. Very easy to book! We loved going through this company so much, that I booked another beach house for a girls weekend! We are locals, but will definitely be regulars! It was nice to stay out there and not have to drive home. Definitely felt like a vacation even for us! Thank you!

Girls weekend. The property was perfect for our group of 5 women. Our only observation was-better pillows (pillows were to full) but we did find other pillows in the closets. Kitchen was perfect, living area and view was awesome. Thank you as always.

We stayed in this home with some family and had a wonderful time. The house was perfect and the location was great for walking to the beach. Our family loved it. We hope to be back again.

Our family of 9 have been at Mary's house for several years in a row and we have reserved it again for the similar time for next year. We all love this house and the location very much. An extra bonus: the pool table in the lower part of the house!

Lovely, family friendly home located in a quite coastal community. Clean, and well appointed. Not a good home for the loud and party type, it’s located in a dominantly resident occupied portion of the Bodega Harbour subdivision. Our family really enjoyed the layout of the home and the sunsets. Great access for someone with mobility issues or a wheel chair.

The house was great, was very pleased with the house. The rental company was great. The only issue we had was a neighbor got upset when we were on the balcony about 9:30 pm she started yelling at

us and acting unreasonable. We had just been talking, no loud conversation, no music. Curfew is
at 10:00 pm. So once we knew this we made sure we were not on the balcony talking after 9:00.

1. Nice view - We stayed for 3 nights in August. The view was lovely and I liked that it was on a cul-de-sac.

2. Great layout for quieter bedrooms. The king room and a queen room, both with bathrooms, had a small hall between them as well as an added door to block living room noise. On the other side of the living room was a bedroom with 2 twins and a neighboring bathroom, again situated behind a 2nd door separating the sleeping area from the rest of the living room. Downstairs was a similar situation where a Queen room and neighboring bathroom were located behind an added door, for sound reduction from the den. It didn't block sound from the room above, but it did from the den.

3. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was neat and clean.

4. Nice bar area downstairs with sink & fridge, TV, futon, & couch.

5. I liked that there was just a little TV in the kitchen and a large one downstairs. We ladies could visit in the living room and kitchen (or deck or downstairs outside table) while the guys could watch a game downstairs.

6. We wished there were more washcloths - only 1 per person for a 3 night stay and none in the closets. We ended up buying some in town. There was a washer and dryer in the unit but it would have been a small load with just washcloths. I usually like to have at least 1 per day, preferably 2.

7. Sheets for the futon in the den would have been helpful. Fortunately we had a sleeping bag along. Plenty of pillows and blankets in the closets - we just couldn't find more sheets or washcloths.

8. Hot tub is very chlorinated and bleached my daughter's swimsuit - be sure to rinse after!

9. Lastly, heed the warning about not leaving food out... we left a low window open in the kitchen adjacent to the deck overnight and some critter (probably a raccoon?) broke through the low screen and got into 2 loaves of bread & 2 desserts off of the table and kitchen counter! Both pans we

This home is so specious with the bedrooms very private. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything we could need. The downstairs is so much fun with the pool table, bar large TV and sitting area. The kids (early twenties) were in heaven. They had a whole apartment to themselves. A beautiful weekend. We will definitely return.

The house is great, and, the weather was super. Surely the luck of the Irish ( My maiden name was Donohoe ) The only problem was not enough towels for all guests. Bodega Bay Escapes brought more when we requested them. Very, very professional!!

Might want to bring a sharp cutting knife with you as all were dull Only problem was a neighbor who complained we were to noisy and we were in bed by 9:30 every day

This was our 8th year at Mary's Place for our annual scrapbooking weekend. We were pleasantly surprised with the new furnishings and décor. The weather couldn't have been better and the view was spectacular. We are already looking forward to our visit next year.

Mary's place was the perfect place to wind down after the hustle and bustle from the holidays!!

Marys Place is a comfortable, clean house with wonderful views. The only downside is the homes closest to the house are full time residence that can hear everything going on in Marys Place if the windows and doors are open or if guests are noisy. Excellent family vacation rental. Bodega Bay Escapes is an outstanding rental agency.

This home is a solid A for those that want to rent a lovely vacation home.

We had 8 family members together for three days. Some we had not seen for several years. It was the perfect place to relax and get caught up with each other. Mary's Place had a lot of room and we enjoyed every inch of the rental. When we were not playing cards, playing pool or enjoying a quiet moment in the hot tub, we were sitting on the upper deck enjoying the sunset. Mary's Place was easy to rent and easy to enjoy. Our family had an enjoyable and memorable time together!

A great house for a group. Large dining table, huge living room with 3 couches and gorgeous views.

We actually loved this house. It was in need of a few repairs (outside furniture) but all in all, very roomy, very comfortable. We enjoyed our four day stay very much there. GREAT VIEW.

Almost 25 years ago a group of us women from the same street (Scrubs) have been getting together in different locations for a long weekend with no kids, no husbands/signifigant other to just let our hair down, relax, have fun, and laugh. Mary's Place allows for all of us to have our space, cook our food and a central spot for games and more laughs. We did have a minor shower mishap, placed a call to the property mgr on saturday morning and they had a maintenance man there within the hour - those of you that know Bodega Bay, that is almost unheard of. I highly recommend both the home and the rental agency!

Had a wonderful time with family and friends. So much to see and do and just ENJOY!! The house was great and very convenient.
