We hadn't taken a getaway of any kind in almost 2 yrs! We were lucky enough to find this charming home last minute before the 4th of July. We LOVED it, great size, cozy but plenty of space, clean, beautiful ceilings and wood detail. Bed was comfortable, hot tub clean, deck out front was our favorite feature. Sat there for hours enjoying the ocean air and a small but, sweet view of Bodega harbor, ocean. We can't wait to return ~

We rented this house in May and June of 2024. The property description was accurate. The property is clean and well maintained. The management team is great and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend! The beach is so close and we enjoyed all the gift shops and the Boat House for dinner.

We have stayed in a bunch of houses in Bodega. This cozy home was our favorite!

Well, we did survive the Huge storm! No power for two days, we did use the wood stove and cooked a steak on it with a pan of course, boiled water and made my oatmeal! We did unfortunately lose a few things in the refrigerator. This was I think our 6th stay here. Really appreciated the new beds, new everything really. We’ve had a sisters reunion at Bodega Bay for the last 18 years. Hope to keep on going. Only thing I can bring up that we wished we had were some kind of kindling to start the wood stove, it took us a while, and candles or flashlights. Good thing we had them with us. Could also use new shower head in main bathroom, other than that. Loved it!

This is a nice cozy, comfortable house. From the front deck you can hear the waves, see the head and have a limited view of the ocean. The neighborhood is quiet-which makes for a peaceful respite.

Everything was very clean and well stocked. Inside was larger than expected which was nice. Was a great stay.

We've stayed in this house several times now and always enjoy it. Once again it was squeaky clean when we arrived. The furnishings aren't plush but plenty comfortable. We'll be back.

all went as planned for our two nights in our home rental. even our 2 year old could walk to the beach as it was so close and gorgeous! kitchen and bathroom had all we needed. comfortable home!

Nice and clean 2bdrm 2bth home with great sunset views. Need a new coffee pot. The coffee wasn't very hot and the burner wasn't too hot either.

Great location , clean home , very quiet area , very close to a great beach trail , thoughtful touches including a nice assortment of Keurig coffee pods for guests to enjoy .

Cozy two bedroom home with decent ocean views. The front deck off the living room was larger than I expected and a nice place to sit. The hot tub cover was very heavy and made it difficult to remove and put back. Easy walk down to the beach and close to the golf pro shop.

The house is very comfortable, kitchen was well-stocked, plenty of paper products, nice TV, nice and quiet location and everything in working order. The only negative is the bath towels need to be replaced. Golf course and hiking trail are within walking distance from the Sandpiper. Will be back again! Very good hamburger at the Boathouse.

Very pleasant

We have stayed at the Sandpiper house many times, and it provides all the amenities we need (sunny deck, views of Seal Rock, comfy furniture and hot tub!). Never been been disappointed

We enjoyed our week in this house. It was our second stay at Sandpiper and a nice getaway from the city. The house is a bit dated but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub (used in once) and the BBQ... a new one since our last visit.
The mattress in the master bedroom is past its prime and it has been suggested that it be replaced.
We enjoyed it enough to book a week again next year.

Great rental! Love coming to Bodega Bay for a much needed break from reality and this house was just perfect for our 2 couples. Location was awesome, so close to the golf course and beach. House was clean and had everything we needed. Spa was a bonus and so relaxing! Enjoyed our short time there, look forward to another visit soon!

Sandpiper was very clean and inviting. It's well appointed and served our purpose, relaxing near the ocean, perfectly. A comfortable rental to which we'll return.

My husband and I along with another couple stayed 3 nights in Sandpiper. The home was tastefully decorated, comfortable living room furniture, nice views and we loved the location of the property. I only gave 4 stars on property's general condition due to mattress in master being a little too soft, one of the burners on cooktop wouldn't turn on and also BBQ did not work properly. We hope we get the opportunity to return in the future. Thank you to the homeowner for sharing their beautiful home.

The home is very roomy with two good size bedrooms and bathrooms. The front porch overlooks the Bay with homes inbetweeen. Very nice walking neighborhood with a path to the beach through the golf course parking lot. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Unit was clean. All appliances worked. We would suggest that both beds have their mattresses replaced. They sagged and lacked back support. A new shower head in one shower would work better and more water pressure in the tub-shower would be better. All else was fine.

A very open and inviting space - one of the most comfortable I've stayed in. Very close to beach for walks. The wood burning stove also a bonus! I would like to come to this location again!

Found the Sandpiper last minute and was so pleased with the rental. The house is a short walk away from the beach and right on the golf course. Will be staying again!!

Good home to escape to. Enjoyed having a fireplace to warm up at night. Appreciated having firewood in the garage, as well as a few laundry pods to wash clothes. A few things are different from pictures: newer TV (although took a few minutes to figure out), chairs in dining area and two new oversized chairs in sitting area. Oven is outdated but worked like a charm and cooks even. Quick walk to clubhouse and path down to the beach. Small playground behind clubhouse for younger kids with beach view. Plenty of seating throughout house and on the patio. Not too much of a ocean view but you can see it. Skylight leaked in blue bathroom right by toilet.

We stayed at the Sandpiper house for 7 nights. The location of property is great-5 star!! The house was comfortable and fully equipped. We had an issue with the hot tub that the property manager resolved. We will definitely go back!

The house was super cozy. It felt like home. Pam and Bodega Bay Escapes took care of all of the little details down to the flowers on the dining table. Wish we could have stayed longer, 5 days/4 nights was simply not long enough. We loved walking across the street and down to the beach every morning. Complete relaxation.

We had a great stay in Sandpiper. There is an ocean view from the front deck, and the beach is just a short walk from the home. The home was very clean and had just about everything we needed for our stay. Nice spa on the back deck and a small, but nice, bbq as well. Perfect home for a family of 4. We will definitely plan on coming back!

The Sandpiper house had a excellent location and was accurately described in the listing. The house was clean and well-organized. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not functioning (and it was a large factor in our selecting this particular house). Maintenance staff attempted to repair it but could not. A partial refund in a fair amount was promptly made. Overall, excellent service from the rental team.

We wanted modest space with an easy walk to the beach. Sandpiper provided just that. Two comfortable bedrooms and a very comfortable living space with a fully equipped kitchen.

The house is very cute & the pics don't do it justice. It was very clean & great to walk down to the beach thru the clubhouse...got some great pics as well.

This was our second time staying at the Sand Piper. Perfect home for the four of us.

Loved being able to walk to the beach and enjoy the views from the front porch. The interior is clean, but a bit retro.

We had a lovely time! The house has two master bedrooms so it is great for two couples. The coffee kurig with pods was also very nice! I can't wait to come back!

We have rented dozens of homes throughout the Bodega Bay area and we decided this one is in the top 3. Close to the beach, very clean, nice tv, great internet, comfortable furnishings and a great deck. All the things I look for in a rental. Great sized home for the 3 of us. We hope to return.

We stayed at the Sandpiper with the kids for three nights over Spring Break and had a wonderful time. The accommodations were perfect!

We enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper. The house is perfectly set up for two couples and is in a great location for walking down to beach in front of the development or in the other direction down to the state park. It is very well maintained and has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We also appreciated the management company leaving keys and instructions outside rental office for our late arrival.

Nice home in a good location. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and down to the beach. The home was clean except for the barbecue grill, but when we reported this, they cleaned it immediately. There was no can opener! Good bedroom setup with private bath for each. Hot tub was a bonus and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the afternoon. A big negative is the traffic in Bodega Bay! We are from Maine (ME), not Minnesota (MN)! A
