It was our first time in Bodega Bay and found it to be a true gem. The home was welcoming and clean, and everything was as described with beautiful views of the bay. Thank you to the hosts!

The house is small but have everything por a 4 members family. All in the house is a little bit old, but we were very happy making hikes around and very secluded of the city. The kitchen needs a new stove and the beds new quilts and blankets. The neiborhood is exclusive and peaceful and just a few steps from the beach. The view is very beautiful!!

The house was so cozy and sweet. Amazing views from the main living area, back porch, and balcony.

Good day, this charming ocean view home was easy to locate, the views are simply stunning and calming to both mind and soul. Thank you. (*just in case maintenance was not aware, in the masterbedroom, the window to the far left, the screen requires repair, as the weather stripping prevents the window from locking properly. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Horizon house. The home is comfortable and nicely decorated. Although we didn't cook much (we had take-out from a number of the local restaurants), the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. The view from the upstairs deck was beautiful, right on the 15th fairway and and a clear view of Bodega Head and the bay. Living room furniture could use improvement as there was no really comfortable seating for TV watching. I appreciated the Bodega Bay Escapes extra touches, like the little bag of toiletries and the super friendly staff.

We had a lovely time celebrating my partner's birthday during our visit. The weather and the view from the house was lovely. Thank you so much for being so accommodating and understanding when we arrived a bit too early! We really appreciate all your kindness during our stay. Looking forward to visiting again!

Horizon was the perfect get away for our small family. It was clean and comfortable with beautiful views. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware, but bring all your own ingredients including salt and pepper. Also bring wood for the fireplaces. We hope to return again soon!

Great location on the golf course, with a decent between-houses ocean view, and awesome ocean sounds. Seeing an almost full 180 degree view of the stars from the upstairs deck is worth the price of admission. Perfect for grabbing Fishetarian or Tides Wharf or Spud Point to-go and bringing back to eat at home. Remember to bring your own coffee (whole or ground) and creamer. Yes, ample wifi, just not listed in the description. Bonus: 1-car garage (if you brought the small car). :)

We stayed during the week and enjoyed an uncrowded beach. They views were great from inside and outside. A quick walk to the beach kept us heading back many times. Home could use some updates like mattresses and couch.

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. It was a great way to get away for a short time to refuel.

There are 11 of us and we rent 3 houses to sleep in. This is one of them. The house is satisfactory. We’ve stayed here several years and always find several minor issues and one big issue. The minor ones appear to be due to needing maintenance. For 2 years in a row the lady staying in the master bedroom has woken up with ants all over her. It’s quite disturbing. When I called the property management they sent out ant bait traps right away. I would recommend tracking the timing of placing the bait traps so they can be replaced before this happens.Thank you so much for listening.

Gorgeous home in great condition with lovely views. The only negative is that the
kitchen could be better stocked with spices and cooking oils. It only had
salt and pepper. No olive oil or other basic spices.

The house was perfect for two couples. The views are great of the ocean and golf course. I do wish it had a hot tub.

The management company is professional and accommodating. The location is perfect (why we have stayed multiple times). The property description and pictures are an reflection. We enjoy the view and wildlife. The furniture, stove, etc. is showing a lot of wear and is in need of some TLC. Towels, etc. could use a better wash (We put aside grossly stained wash cloths). Other little housekeeping issues. All in all, we love this location, view, property management, and will return in the future.

We were there for a wedding at Secret
gardens and it was a 10 minute drive to wedding.

The location and view are great. Like some other rental homes in this area the interior details could stand some attention and updating. Linens etc were "tired" like the royal blue carpeting in second bedroom. Bed in master is small. Some of the kitchen implements should be replaced. New comforters and sheets could go a long way here.

We have stayed at the horizon 3 times now and every time it has been great close to everything with a great morning view after the for burns off I definitely would recommend this home and I will stay again soon

Comfortable home, great patio space, comfortable bed (in master suite where we stayed), functional kitchen, overall a great experience and stay. I would recommend getting screens installed on the doors/windows as it was a bit frustrating that we could not open the house without bugs entering. Perhaps a bit of an update to some of the electronic appliances, such as some kind of Smart TV or Apple TV to allow access to TV programs since it does rain a lot there and has considerable cloudiness. I would likely not stay here again for the last 2 reasons. My stay at other residences in Bodega Harbor have been more pleasant due to those factors and having more accommodating, updated qualities.

Everything was wonderful the home was clean and in good order. The staff a Bodega Bay escapes were friendly and helpful. The location of our rental house was great, close to Doran Regional Park and State beach, and a quick drive to town for restaurants and shipping. The golf course location was beautiful and quiet. We had beautiful views of the ocean from our back patio and upper balcony. The home was a great fit for our family and offered all the amenities we needed to have a relaxing and great family vacation. We would highly recommend this home and this company to anyone looking to get away.

This house was a perfect fit for our family. Cozy but plenty of space. Living area had beautiful view and a fireplace. Great place to curl up with a book. Close to everything and in a great, safe setting.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our cozy rental and the amazing view. We were fortunate to have awesome weather, not a cloud in the sky. In the future, we will likely rent a place with a hot tub, but this is a wonderful home, thank you!! (Beds are not very comfy, so beware if you are a finicky sleeper or have back problems.)

The Horizon house was very cute and also very clean. The only downside was the beds in the house were very uncomfortable, other than that it was great. I really enjoyed using the steamed shower. My only suggestion would be to update the mattress to something more comfortable. I would definitely stay at this property again.

We once again enjoyed our time in Bodega Bay and Bodega Harbour. The BBE home we rented was perfect for our family. Looking forward to our return trip.

We had a lovely stay at this home. It was a great location for everything Bodega Bay! The walk to the beach was nice and short. Lucas Wharf was really good food. The Tides had a cute little shop. Kites and Candy was perfect for the kids. We got to see everything from seals to crazy looking caterpillars and sea urchins. The girls in the office were very kind and accommodating. The things I would change are the beds. They must be from 1950! Also, watch where your crumbs land! The ants come marching in!The tub in the master bathroom doesn't actually work as a tub, just the shower head works. The art in the home is a little different. Other than that, it was perfect, and I would definitely stay here again. We really didn't want to leave!

This home is very well equipt with anything a family would need to have a wonderful stay! Just bring your clothes and groceries! The home was very clean, warm and cozy! We look forward to staying there again soon!

The property had a nice ocean view. The layout of the home was welcoming and worked nicely for our girls getaway weekend. There was a power outage one evening. The property had no candles, flashlights or matches to start the fire. I tried several times to call the property management and was unable to reach anyone that evening nor leave a phone message. We liked the property but not so happy about not being able to reach the property management after hours when we needed assistance.

Beautiful, comfortable, fully stocked home. Safe, lovely, very uppercrust home, with stunning views of the bay and golf course. In the morning..you can hear the happy seals greeting the day! Loved it!

This home met all our expectations for a senior guys golf getaway. Thanks for sharing it with us.

The Horizon property has spectacular views but is in need of upgrades. Also, the floor to ceiling windows need sunscreens for the warm days. The temperature was a high of 80 all three days. The shades had to be closed during the day to keep the inside temps bearable. We would have liked to have them opened to enjoy the views. Also, there are no screens on the windows making it difficult to open the house to take advantage of the cooler weather in the evenings.

My family of four enjoyed the stay and we also brought my 75 year old Mother with us who also enjoyed the home.

Nice rental house, great location overlooking the golf course faiway to the bay. Good size for 2 adult couples but would have been better if the 2nd bedroom had a queen bed vs. 2 singles. The house is showing some wear and is dated but it was fine for a short stay. I would stay again.

Upon entering the rental house (Horizon) we noticed right away the house was dusty and not well cleaned.

In the bedroom window sills was black mold in both windows, my son is allergic to mold so he had to sleep in the living room and we kept the door shut while he was in the house.

Good thing there was ant spray under the sink because we had to continually use it through out the house. also the house had numerous spiders, we killed three and spotted more in the corners of the ceilings.

We loved the remodeled bathrooms. The house suited our needs just wish we didn't have to deal with the mold and insects.

The pots and pans were old and not enough frying pans, only one small one.

Maybe getting a pest control service would help with the pest problem.

Great house!! Loved the shower. Was surprised that there was no soap. Would rent this house again. View was wonderful. Best we have ever had.

Nice views , washer dryer is nice to have when staying for extended periods. Plenty of space and closets .

We had a good time the house was nice the only problem was a bat got in the garage open the garage door and it flew out no problem. Thanks again will try and come over in the future maybe play a little golf next time. thanks pat

Very nice rental. Views are terrific. Location is ideal for getting anywhere along the Sonoma Coast as well as inland to Sonoma and Napa valleys. House size is perfect for a couple with younger children.

I don't want to say too many great things about Bodega, because I don't want everyone coming here . I will say that it's an awesome place to be and that I've always received a great service and nice homes from Bodega Bay Escapes.

This clean and cozy house had unparalleled of Bodega Head and is a short walk to the private beach. Great visit!

Our experience at this home was beautiful overall. A great time of connecting. My only complaints would be ant issues and some lighting that didn't work. I especially loved the back patio area and the big windows in the living room/ kitchen area. Beds were comfortable and the house was warm. Loved the fireplace.

overall a lovely place, light, good views, and comfortable. it's right on the golf course, which may appeal to some and bother others. for us, it was a negative, but other than that, we loved our stay.

We've rented in the Bodega Harbor South development 3 times now. We stayed in this home for 2 weeks, and it had some of the best views from the living/dining area and the loft upstairs.

Pros: good location and views, reasonably comfortable house, great property management support. We had a shower handle fall off and the plumbers were sent right over to fix 's a stylish little home, with original art on walls.

Cons: The master bed was rather uncomfortable for the 2 of us. Wood floors need work. We missed lack of Internet connection, although property listed as not having it.

We enjoyed our stay overall.
